It’s a bad user experience to show users product features within the plug-in UI that are non-functional. Typically add-on functionality is either hidden completely or otherwise clearly marked as a pro or add-on features.

with the Neve Pro extension 2.8.5Thank you. I was able to rebuild the affected columns block using the built-in AWB block, but I did just update to the latest plugin version and can confirm that the video background functionality has been restored in the Ghost Kit Advanced columns blocks.

I haven’t heard anything. I deleted the plugin yesterday. Definitely a shame.
I sent Evan several messages via Slack. I’m still operating on the assumption that he didn’t purchase this plugin from @yikesinc just to run it into the ground.
Time will tell I guess.

Hey James, thanks for following up. I have not seen this error again since I first reached out. We do having error logging turned on on the site, but I haven’t really been tracking them since the issue went away and we only have records going back 48 hours, so nothing is currently showing in the logs related to the Site Kit plugin.
Okay, well I don’t fully understand what caused the errors. I wasn’t making any changes to our properties as far as I know. But as the issue has resolved itself I don’t want to go chasing ghosts. Thanks for all your help.
