@shameemreza this is not resolved, you can see in the thread no solution has been provided. It’s reportedly set for a future release but we have no idea of when that might be and in the meantime it is not working and no-one has suggested an alternative.

@ckadenge I don’t use Facebook, and I have run the question through ChatGPT and tried everythying it suggested. I spent hours on it. I figured as this is the official supprot forum for Woocommerce this should be right place to get a definitive answer on how to achieve something that should be really straightforward! Surely the official line is more helpful than “Ask ChatGPT?!”

Anyone have any thoughts on this? I can’t believe this is that hard to achieve, it’s just passing a variable to a form field. I’ve done this elsewhere on the site with no issue at all, but for some reason the checkout fields don’t play by the same rules – presumably something to do with how they are generated or populated by Woo.

So the account gets created and the customer is logged in, but they then have to click a link in the email to set their password. During testing our users have found this counter-intuitive and confusing. Ordinarily they would expect to choose a password during the checkout process, or even be offered the option of creating an account or not.
