I’ve just updated to 1.2, but no joy still. If I try to access the editing page for the map, I still get a never-ending waiting animation.

Hi Narinder
It’s somehow working now! I think I just didn’t put a low enough content limit. However, it’s not really what I want.

I need to be able to put in LINKS to my existing pages from the timeline stories. It looks like it’s possible when composing the story, but there’s no link enabled within the timeline. Will it be possible to code that? That would be awesome – I haven’t found a plug-in yet that can do that.

Many thanks for help with this revision – I did the upgrade, then uninstalled. Unfortunately, I don’t hold the purse-strings, so can’t easily subscribe to the add-on.

The shortcode is found in the Map Manager page – section for each map you’ve created, looking like:
[wpdmp-map id=’6′ lang=’en’]
where the id number will be specific to your map

I believe that as of the 1.1 upgrade, you can adjust the position of all the popups on your map in a setting available in the Maps Manager page. Use negative values to move the popup left and up.

I have the same issue as you in wanting a thumbnail image in the popup (similar the Ready! Google maps), but just getting a link arrow instead. I guess that’s not ‘out-of-the-box’ functionality. We need to donate to encourage development!
