After more contact with the hosting support they told me they found the following error in the server log. They could not provide me the full log because it’s a shared hosting package but they told me this section of the log may be helpful for you at UpdraftPlus Support.

Hello,
I have contacted my hosting company. They told me this:
I/O usage is limited to 50MB/s
max_execution_time = 1500
max_input_time =1500
memory_limit = 1G
post_max_size = 1G
upload_max_filesize = 1GIf any of these parameters is too low what should I ask them to change it to?
Also, they could not find any erros in the PHP error logs.
Manually restoring the files works but it kinda defeats the purpose of this plugin. It’s weird that the plugin does not throw any errors at the restoration operations activity log. It looks to have successfully restored.

However, excluding the Others component yielded the same result after restoration (plugins disappearing and media files seems to have been corrupted, they don’t appear on my site anymore).
And when I press the “Follow this link to download the log file for this restoration (needed for any support requests).” and login, I come to a screen that says “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”

My 2 sites (live and backupsite) are hosted on Stellar Shared Hosting Plan from Namecheap if that is of any relevance.

So I should assume that the backup is not broken? Or what do you mean by redownloading and reuploading the backup?
I get this warning for all automatic backups UpdraftPlus has made for the last 2 months.

Yeah I noticed that was the cause. I’ve lowered the human/bot threshold score from 1.0 to 0.9 and I don’t have this issue anymore.

Yes, I enabled two-factor verification to get rid of this message, logged in with two-factor authentication and then deactivated it.
Now, this message comes back everytime I try to login into my WordPress site. This started happen because I personally entered wrong credentials multiple times to test out Wordfence. Will verification requirement go away with time?

Ok so the mail “Login Verification Required” was sent to my spam folder at gmail. Is this a mail sent by Wordfence or WordPress?
The “Unlock email requested” mail is clearly sent by Wordfence because it contains Wordfence links.

I haven’t set up anything yet because I am exploring different plugins. I assume spacing cannot be adjusted without using CSS?
