Nevermind. For some reason my cache isn’t clearing automatically like it should.

Adding Fluid player support to this plugin is the worst idea ever, if this gets implemented that would be the end for me using this player. People sometimes don’t read the terms of use when it comes to a new video player like Fluid Player.

I certainly didn’t read it. In any case the only reason for it would of been for in video ad support which I didn’t know video.js already had.

So I’d say that simply adding support for easier non technical implementations of the various video.js plugins would be plenty sufficient.

Hi, thanks for quick reply. I actually did notice that the advertising companies i’m wanting to use actually support a player that is based off of video.js.

I really have no clue where to start so far as implementing this do you happen to have any tips?

Also in regards to the plugin being premium in the future, you might want to consider a monthly subscription instead of a fixed price of say $80 for instance. Charge $5.99 per month give or take. Likely more sales for you & and profit over the long term.

Also adding in native easy to implement video advertising would probably be a great selling point. And I’m not just saying that because I obviously want it. =-) I hope to figure this out well before you possibly do any updates.

Yes, ok because I removed everything related to CDN and gave up for awhile. I cant seem to figure out the proper dns settings so far as I can tell. Posted to aws forums and emailed cloudflare hoping someone can help me. =)

On cloudflare i setup a cname of d3db9hry2u29mh.cloudfront.net > https://www.resistfromday1.org

It appears to be working.. I think. Large parts of my website are missing mostly graphics. I suppose that it all has to get loaded to cloudfront?

Thanks for your quick replies. Sorry I didn’t get back to you in a timely manner. Had other issues coming up like how to use WordPress and amazon cloudfront without using a plug-in. Still working on that one lol.

Anyway when you decide to start charging for the plug-in I’ll definitely be a customer. And I hope you make good money doing so and create another unique and useful plug-in.

Which I happen to have a (I believe) good idea for if you happen to be interested. Although it might be considered to be more than a plug-in.

It was a cache issue, I temporarily disable it in your wp-config.php file

define( ‘WP_CACHE’, false );

Please login to wp and clear your plugin cache.

Thanks for writing in! Since you are using a caching plugin, when this happens you will need to clear your site cache. And also I noticed that you are using CloudFlare, you will have to logged in to your CloudFlare account and clear your site cache once in a while.

Dont understand why cacheing would do this? Since I dont know when this is going to happen its not very realistic to purge the cache. in the mean time people could be visiting a broken website.

Hi there,

If that’s possible then we can make X theme handle it, but it’s not. Caches are harder control through theme or other plugins. Let’s say the cache is a pre-saved copy of your site to prevent it from re-executing all the codes, hence, faster loading. If X theme can’t re-execute the codes due to cache then it can’t control it either.

That’s why you can only clear cache through the provided features of the cache plugin itself. Purging and cleaning are the jobs of the cache plugin you installed.
