In reply to: [Broken Link Checker] Large Amount of 403 Forbidden DailyThanks so much for getting back to me, I appreciate it. I have found a lot of these links are to scientific journal papers. But definitely not limited to. Most links are confirmed with a manual recheck, but some arent even though when I click on the link the page loads fine.
Here are some examples,
https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/ptr.976/abstract – I just noticed that this link redirects to https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1002/ptr.976 Doese this redirect have something to do with the issue?
Anything from the below domain, will show as forbidden and pressing a manual recheck will not change it, but if you click on the link it is not broken.

In reply to: [Broken Link Checker] False Postitives – Server Not Found. Is there a developer looking at these issues???
Disregard my messages. I had my hosting company disable jetpack and I gained access. Even my hosting company’s IP was blocked. I had friends all over the world try and log in and EVERY IP was blocked! How can this happen?????
Also, I have tried multiple IP’s and every single one is blocked. I have tried my 4G mobile network and rest my connection multiple times to gain new IP’s but all are blocked.
I have the same issue that just started today. I can not access WP-ADMIN to implement any fixes. How do I regain access to my site? I never have had this issue before and I dont understand why it just started. Please help.
Thanks for your reply Maryanne. Yes the share numbers have returned. Wonderful. Thanks
Ryan
Hi there, great to see this is being worked on. Has it been resolved?
It is not currently showing share numbers on the floating bar on the desktop version of me website, though the mobile site is and has been working fine.
Thanks
Ryan
I also have this issue on my site wakeup-world.com
The issue is only with Chrome. I have tested FF and IE and they are working fine.
It seems to be quite random. A few posts on my homepage will load the share data, but the rest is blank.
Is there a solution to this?
Thanks
Ryan
I found this…
You can have Rocket Loader ignore individual scripts by putting adding the data-cfasync=”false” attribute to the relevant script tag, for example:
<script data-cfasync=”false” src=”/javascript.js”></script>
Rocket Loader will still work for all other scripts.
Please note that adding this attribute within JS will not work to exclude the script from Rocket Loader.

Does this mean that this pluggin will be loaded twice and the issue will still occur?
Thanks
Just checked my site, something has updated or refreshed and all issues from my last post have been resolved.
Thanks again for your help Donncha
Thanks Donncha. I removed the “//” and was able to turn “Caching On (Recommended)”
But I am still getting the same above error message of “Warning! WP Super Cache caching was broken but has been fixed! The script advanced-cache.php could not load wp-cache-phase1.php.
The file /home/wakeup9/public_html/wp-content/advanced-cache.php has been recreated and WPCACHEHOME fixed in your wp-config.php. Reload to hide this message.”
I also have a new message now stating “WP_CACHE constant added to wp-config.php If you continue to see this warning message please see point 5 of the Troubleshooting Guide. The WP_CACHE line must be moved up.
As per my hosting companys advise. I need to “Use mod_rewrite to serve cache files. (Recommended)” But I can not get the “Update Mod_Rewrite Rules” button to save the data.
Thanks for your help Donncha
Thanks for your reply Donncha… Sorry to sound dumb, but what do you mean by “uncomment”?
Note to everyone using APC. I had to get my hosting company to clear out my dedicated servers APC cache. All working fine again.
