Thanks for the reply. Tried it but still finished up with the same error message

The installation can not be completed:

– You cannot install more than one script in the root directory of a domain.

Click on the browser’s Back button to fix reported errors. *****

I too have this exact same problem.
After deleting an old blog, I tried to set up a new one using the same domain, but even tho’ there is now no sign of the old blog that I can find anywhere on my drive, it still returns the same error.

Surely I have not got to scrap the domain.
