Try switching to Twenty Seventeen theme to see if you can view the content, if you can, you may have a theme that has compatibility issues.

If you still can’t view the content, you can try disabling all plugins and activating them one at a time to see if there is an obvious culprit in your plugins.

Can you share the site address?

Sometimes it’s easier to troubleshoot the actual site.

If you go to WP Settings >> Reading >> For each article in a feed, show

you should see you have selected “Full Text”, if you change it to “Summary” and click “Save Changes” at the bottom, you will see each of your posts now has a shortened version with a link informing you viewers to click for the full post.

I would try deactivating all plugins, log out, and log back in to see if you get the same prompt.

If the prompt goes away, you know it’s related to one of them, activate the plugins one by one, log out and back in after each to track down the plugin in question.

I actually just saw this tutorial overview of a plugin (Pods) that will let you create exactly what you are mentioning (email, phone number etc) in a central location, and then use short codes to reference the info.

Do you have any addresses of the previous and current location?

It depends on what the original site entailed whether or not the site is worth “fixing” vs. starting from a clean slate and recreating the content.

What did you end up using as a workaround? That screencast I included was strictly Twenty Seventeen with no plugins so you may have a plugin that is causing a CSS conflict.

It sounds like you have your blog page set to display the full post and you are viewing the post on the blog page. When you click the title you are actually going to the single page (full post) and the comments are available on the single page.

They are pretty quick to answer support tickets, post back here if you get a solution, I always like to see how things get resolved.

It overly complicates an answer when you have to answer things generically.

There are easier ways to make changes depending on if the search box you are using is a part of a plugin, the default WP search or something custom.

If you can share the address of the page you are trying to modify or at the very least a screenshot, it makes it far easier to give an answer specific to your situation.

Could you give a little more detail about what you are trying to accomplish? Is the “search” text that you are trying to replace in a widget, plugin, page etc?
