Thank you,?@supernovia! I just made some changes in the settings of the same plugin to place the pagination “above the content”. This time, the pagination is in the right place. Based on where it is at the top of the page, I figured that it was the “Older Posts” button that was preventing it from being placed at the right place below the content.

I installed the plugin “WP-Paginate” and applied it to my website. The page numbers did show up. However, they were placed in the middle of the home page (under the post titled “Meaningful Work”).? Thanks for the response! There wasn’t a difference in browser. I used Google Chrome consistently. The major problem with what was displayed on a 23-inch screen was that the text area became very narrow.
