Have you took a look at our testing site?

When wpml-config.xml is present in plugin root strings are available for translation in WPML > String translation.

You can filter and search for them in String translation.

I have tried on fresh installation and example.com/feed/ is showing posts from that language (English in this case), while example.com/es/feed/ is showing Spanish posts.

Strange, it is working properly on our test site, you can check it out.

I suggest you to delete strings from WPML String Translation, check your xml config file, and translate them again.

Also check if you are using caching plugins, those might cause behaviour like this one.

I’ve just tested it locally and it works properly. Follow these steps:

1. Delete those strings from the WPML String Translation.
2. Add wpml-config.xml file into the Yith plugin folder containing this code:

<wpml-config>
  <admin-texts>
    <key name="yith_tcountdown_slogan"/>
    <key name="yith_tcountdown_message"/>
    <key name="yith_tcountdown_button_text"/>
  </admin-texts>
</wpml-config>

3. Go back to WPML String Translation, strings should be there now as “Not translated”. Just translate them and you should be ok. ??

Strings will appear afterwards in “String translation” plugin.

Can you tell me what is the outcome if you change to “Twenty sixteen” theme?
