Your hosting account has nothing to do with the computer you use.
Always use linux hosting.Use windows only if you are going to use a CMS made on ASP.net.

But remember you are on the web and should just use common fonts such as arial, verdana, tahoma, times new roman, serif, sans-serif, georgia, lucida sans, and not much more.
I would just stay with arial or verdana for the posts text and Georgia or Times news roman for the titles. But it depends on the theme.
