Your hosting account has nothing to do with the computer you use.
Always use linux hosting.

Use windows only if you are going to use a CMS made on ASP.net.

2 columns is one content area and one sidebar.
3 columns is one content area and two sidebars.

So it allows you to choose the numbers of sidebars.

I have the same problem here but just with opera.

I simply disable javascript and reload the page.
Then when I’m done editing I enable it again.

You need to edit your themes style.css file.

But remember you are on the web and should just use common fonts such as arial, verdana, tahoma, times new roman, serif, sans-serif, georgia, lucida sans, and not much more.

I would just stay with arial or verdana for the posts text and Georgia or Times news roman for the titles. But it depends on the theme.
