Unfortunately this issue is still occurring after the plugin update.

Yes, it’s still happening, but only when creating a short link from an existing post. I’ve checked the link settings and my custom domain is selected as the default domain. Thanks for looking into it.

I’m not seeing an error within the dashboard, but the first short link I generate from the “all posts” page serves a 404 error page. I have to go back and click the “create short link” icon again for it to work.

Strange, they seem to be working now.

I had to use another plugin to roll back to the previous version (2.5.2). It doesn’t seem like this forum is being monitored by Bitly.

This is happening to me as well. Hopefully it can be fixed in the next update.

Unfortunately the host wasn’t able to pinpoint the problem and told me they would follow up within 24-48 hours…

Disregard – resolved with regenerate thumbnails plugin!

The deadline to migrate to V4 has been extended. Hopefully this delay will allow us to find someone to take this over or perhaps build a new plugin:

While you can continue your switch to the latest API, the March 31 migration deadline to move from API V2 or V3 to API V4 will be extended with specific timing to be determined. We will follow up with updates as we determine new dates and timing for finalizing the transition to API V4.

The deadline to migrate to V4 has been extended to March 31. Is anyone able to save this plugin before then?

As far as I know, there is not. A couple of people have expressed interest in taking it over, which would be awesome. I think a lack of familiarity with the new API is the challenge.

For what it’s worth, mine is still working.

Any update on picking this up, @modded ? It will be so tough to lose the functionality of this plugin. I hope you or someone else is able to bring it back to life.
