Hi Niel,
Thank you for your reply.
Great to hear that you are actively working on an upgrade.
Side note, the plugin still works, even on WordPress 6.1.
Have a good one!
Hi,
Just wanted to follow-up on this issue. I managed to resolve it by removing the filter:
remove_filter('retrieve_password_message', 'pmpro_password_reset_email_filter');
I am posting it here in case someone else finds it useful.
Thanks for your help!
Hi,
@mariaojob Thank you for creating the issue on GH.
@andrewza I will send you the full list of the active plugins via the contact form on your website.
I am wondering, for testing purposes, if there is a way to bypass the function with
remove_action
orremove_filter
rather in this case as well as overriding it maybe by usingif(function_exists()){}
. I have to test it further on my code as well to see if it is related to the theme.Please advise.
Thanks!

Hi Mary and thank you for your reply.
I am running WordPress 5.5.3 on PHP 7.3.5 and PMPro 2.5.2 with Recurring Emails and Failed Payment Limit Add On.
Any suggestions?
Hi,
Yes, I also run another scan, no longer flagged as malicious on my end.
Thank you all for your input and update.
Hi @chrisstap,
Thank you for sharing your experience.
Have you deleted the wflogs folder? The file seems to be ok on my end also and I don’t see any other obvious signs of hacked code etc.
We definitely need a clarification from WF though.
It can be fixed by actually changing the order from whatever status it is now to “Pending Payment”. While this will not provide the immediate option to save PayPal as a payment method, it will provide a way for your customer to re-checkout and process the payment on the pending order with PayPal. Hopefully this will help you resolve the issue and the method will be saved after the checkout.

Hi Andrew,
Thank you for your reply.
I am actually using the GitHub versions of your add-ons as a “try before you buy” approach but I totally understand what you are saying about the premium plugins.
