This will work with the Front office publishing add-on for all users.
Or, due to a restriction/bug in the way WordPress handles post permissions, you will also need to give the user the permission to create regular WordPress posts.

Most often, this is due to a conflict with another plugin OR with your theme.
You can try to disable other plugins and activate them one by one and see each time if it works.
Also you can try with a different theme and see if that works.
Once you spot the error, we may be able to help more.

You most probably are seeing a conflict between our bundled Bootstrap scripts and the ones from your theme. Please have a look at the resource center on the plugin website where you can find documentation about how to troubleshoot that.

Our menu is a standard WP menu and according to our stylesheet should be placed on top.
Your theme may be interfering with our stylesheet. You can have a try with the TwentyTwelve theme to make sure that this is the case.
If that is the case, you can then contact the theme’s team to know how to add some CSS tweaks to fix that.
