In reply to: [WP Store Locator] Create Link To Open Info WindowThanks for your response! I’m glad this is a feature you have planned for version 3.0. Do you have an estimated time when this update may be released?

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Yoast Competes with The Events Calendar Schema MarkupThanks for the reply but that does not address my original issue. The Events Calendar plugin is already adding event schema but Yoast SEO is removing it. As I explained in my original post, if I deactivate the Yoast SEO plugin, I can see the event schema that The Events Calendar plugin added to the event. If I turn Yoast SEO plugin back on, the events schema is gone and replaced by the generic web page schema type that Yoast adds. Can you address that specific issue? Why is Yoast removing the event type schema added by The Events Calendar plugin? Is there a way to stop Yoast from doing this on pages created by The Events Calendar? I need my events to have the “event” type schema and The Events Calendar plugin adds that schema but Yoast is removing it.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Yoast Competes with The Events Calendar Schema MarkupThe Events Calendar: Version 6.0.0.1

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Add nofollow to the “Add to calendar” Dropdown LinksThanks for your reply and confirming nofollow was supposed to already be on these links. That allowed me to narrow down what was causing it to be removed. I found some JS that we had written for another purpose was affecting these links so I was able to fix it.
I’ve given up on this and will go with something else. This plugin needs much better developer documentation for those of us that want to go a little further.

In reply to: [Modern Events Calendar Lite] Calendar jumps to 1970Has there been any more info on this topic? I am having the same issue. Obviously, there is some issue here if at least 4 different users are having this issue.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] HTML bugI can report having this same issue as well. This needs to be prioritized because as @bozzmedia says, this breaks the events page.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] v5.12.0 pushes my sidebar to the bottomI found this same problem on one of my sites that I just updated as well. At least in my case, it appears that the HTML being output by the plugin is missing a closing
div
tag somewhere. I looked in the Chrome Inspector and found that my sidebar was actually within the main content areadiv
of the page when it should be outside of thatdiv
. I checked my template file and it was fine so I can only assume this new update introduced the issue. I put a random</div>
right after thethe_content()
function in my template file and that seemed to work as a temporary fix. Hopefully, the developers will find and fix this issue as soon as possible.The very first thing this plugin did after I installed it was to redirect to a setup wizard and the very first step in this wizard was to tell me to claim my “free” Opt In Monster account. I don’t need another account just to add a popup to my website.

I feel like I have to say that this was not intuitive in the least. It was not indicated that this is where I should look for this type of thing within the plugin at all. I’ve found that with several aspects of this plugin so far, it is not very intuitive.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [WooCommerce Square] Credit card field won’t allow inputI am having this same problem. It seems to be a problem with how the plugin is loading jQuery. In the Chrome developer tools, I’m getting a jQuery is not defined error. The Square fields work fine when I am logged into my Admin WordPress account but when you are logged out the error comes up. I had a caching plugin turned on but I turned caching off and even uninstalled the plugin but that didn’t solve the problem. WordPress and all plugins are up to date. Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

I’m convinced this is somehow related to WordFence because I ended up removing the Advanced firewall and just going with the basic firewall and now everything seems to be working again. It seems like something with the configuration of the advanced firewall was causing problems. I would prefer to run the advanced firewall but I guess the basic is better than nothing.
