That’s a great idea.
1 – no link: easy to implement
3 – link to picture page: the easiest solution, current behavior.

2 – link to the album… Hum!!!
I did not code it yet. I had a good reason.
But your proposal forced me to understand what’s our need.
Now, thanks to you, I have a good idea, and I know I could code it.

But let me explain you what kind of issue, I was facing.
With Piwigo a picture can be “Linked” to several albums, e.g. Bestof, Location, Theme, …

In other words, Widget or Shortcode could find a picture and being facing a picture linked to several albums.
If you want see THE Album which album would be in the href ???

As I said I have an good answer to this dilema but I would like to read your idea to see if we have a shared view point.
My solution might be different for the widget and the shortcode.

I found it. A plugin not updated since 2008.
No doubt there is still a risk of conflict but PiwigoPress is coded with some of the best coding practices.
Next version has been already reviewed and includes an optimized code.
If you have similar defect.

If drag and drop do not work, check if you could have a plugin conflict.
Desactivate each one, check Drag & Drop, reactivate and check next one.

If you don’t get the most recent pictures, check if the album is lock or not, private or public, and who can see these pictures (everybody).

In some cases only… due to some plugin conflicts.
On going to be solved in this case.

Apparently no other users saw this bug.
Maybe someone could confirm. Thanks.

Seems to work normally but…
I added some pics to my gallery and these ones should be draggable in top of the list of PiwigoPress.
But they were not there.

9 hours later, 4 out of 12 were on top of the list.
Strange, like using a cache and ignore part of the webservice call.
So, PiwigoPress is running without problem except you can see the just loaded pics into your gallery.
Try it!
Please confirm you’ve a same behaviour.

Due to new fields in webservice replies…
PiwigoMedia, as PiwigoPress plugin, need to test if old fields or new fields are available.
New version is required.

pwg.categories.getImages webservice does no longer return [“tn_url”]
Thanks to Piwigo.

It now returns [“derivatives”][“square”][“url”]…

I will check that… and plan already a new version in August.
