In reply to: Transferring current site to another URLAm still confused and not sure if I should proceed. The directions on that link Changing The Site URL do not seem to be exactly clear.
Should I do ALL these 4 steps? Or just one? and at what point should I do a search and replace? Before or after I change the wp-config?
Also..in unhooking the old site: This is still unclear to me. The old site is not wordpress…it is on a different server I think. I only have access to the old site via it’s FTP structure
Thanks if you can help Rev. Voodoo (or anybody for that matter)

In reply to: Transferring current site to another URLSorry, I am confused as to what exactly I need to do.
Rather than moving the WordPress site over to another server..can I not just unhook, as it were, the old site from its address then use that on my current server?
Seems like an easier thing to do as I don’t think I need to swap servers…both URLs are registered with the same company I believe.
Please could you advise the best possible way forward?
Thanks if you can help!

In reply to: Transferring current site to another URLI think I am going to do a Search and Replace to transfer the site. what should happen to the old site when I am doing this? Do they not need to do anything their end?

In reply to: [MP3-jPlayer] Get rid of HIDE/SHOW playlistThe player is not even showing up now

In reply to: [MP3-jPlayer] Get rid of HIDE/SHOW playlistBasically, the functions I need from this plug in are:
Shuffle Play
Continuous playback through changing page
No playlist visible, or no playlist ON/OFF button visible
It needs to display in the sidebar or as popoutIf a conitnuous playback function is not possible, perhaps there is an option to begin the player as a pop-out as defualt?
thanks Simon if you can help

In reply to: [MP3-jPlayer] Get rid of HIDE/SHOW playlistHi – thanks for the reply. Apologies for not getting back sooner – have not done any more work on my site in 2 weeks.
Okay, so the problem is that I am not puting the radio player in posts – it is static on a sidebar and displayed all the time on the site. So..I am not sure where to put the code.
