  • the site is https://www.chillnfill.com
    I would like to change the color of the menu item called “Live Tap List” – actually only the word “Live” but I will settle for the three words if it simplifies matters.
    I used the “Inspect element” and found the line where the title “Live Tap List” is.
    <div id=”post-body-content”>

    <div id=”titlediv”>
    <div id=”titlewrap”>
    <label id=”title-prompt-text” class=”screen-reader-text” for=”title”></label>

    <input id=”title” type=”text” autocomplete=”off” value=”Live Tap List ” color=”red” size=”30″ name=”post_title”></input>
    </div>
    <div class=”inside”></div>
    <input id=”samplepermalinknonce” type=”hidden” value=”6bbc6b5dba” name=”samplepermalinknonce”></input>

    </div>
    I tried to put color=”red” and color=”#FF0000″ but to no avail. Also, I tried to change the size but it does not change when I click on “preview changes”
    The theme is avada 3.5.1

    Thank you

    a_usman I haven’t the faintest idea of how I came up to include a “rel=author” function that shows up in each post on
    https://www.yourdailyshakespeare.com

    Where in “User setting” can I find the Google + URL. Furthermore I have not even been able to find the words contained in the “rel=author” section – words that appear in each post
    Thank you

    I have begun to set up the site “https://www.mannoccinspiritart.com“. The default landing page shows “Hello World” but I would like that page to be the “Home” page.
    However, the page showing “Hello world” does not show up among the existing pages. The question is, how can I make the blog page the home page. In particular, if the visitor navigates to other pages in the same site, I would like him to be able to clic on “home” in the menu line and return to the blog page.
    Thank you

    mra13 thank you.
    The ‘book store’ page is the parent page of the ‘thank you’ page. Or at least I thought that this is how it should work

    Could a kind soul look at the subscribe page on
    https://www.yourdailyshakespeare.com
    and give a hint on what I have done wrong, since I do not see the table for the subscriber to fill, only the link to “subscribe from profile”?
    thank you

    Once more thank you,Ipstenu and again my follow-up question betrays my ignorance. If I delete the home page will not all the content, in this case all the many posts be deleted for good and forever?
    And hopefully assuming that this is not so, when I go to the item “menu” in the “appearances” sub-menu I cannot find a place where to put the URL as you suggest. In which section or dashboard menu is this function or optin to be found?
    Thank you

    Thank you, Ipstenu. I have done ther static page(s)and using the bcustom menu I have been able to make it so that the “home” page is the posts page. However, when after navigating through the site, the visitor returns to the home page, the page is empty because it shows only the “latests posts” or so I learned. But because during the navigation by the visitors there have been no new posts, the home page n(that is the posts page) appears (is) empty. To see the posts again the navigator must exit the site and connect again.
    I wonder if it is possible to bypass this obstacle. I think I am not the only one who would like to have the posts page as the home page.
    Cheers,

    Thank you so much Ipstenu. I think I followed your instructions to the letter. That is, I took the first part of the code (Javascript SDK) generated as you said and pasted it in the Posts page. The instructions say that the it should be placed immediately after the body tag. However in the page proper when reached via the dashboard there appear to be no HTML code. Still I placed it and (thankfully) I did no harm….
    Then I pasted the second part of the code in the widget area called “recent posts”. When I did a ‘save’ the code instantly disappeared.
    I do not see the “Facebook button” on the Posts page. Clearly I have done something wrong. I feel already satisfied that I have not destroyed anything – but if you have a diagnosis other than my thick headedness, and if it does not take too long please let me know. The site, by the way, is https://www.yourdailyshakespeare.com

    Thank you Rev. Voodoo for your answer. At least you have lifted one layer of fog regarding my confusion about “BLOGGER”.
    Should you know of a site with reasonably understandable explanations on how to add the facebook button on a site constructed using the Twenty Ten Template, I’d be grateful of you let me know
    Thank you.

    On the site visitors can already write their comments and replies without having to enter details. I don’t know how but I receive an email automatically when someone sends a message and I need to “moderate”. Therefore what is the reason for including a Facebook Connect. I tried anyway but got stuck in getting the API, Secret etc.
    Can anyone suggest where to find the simplest explanation of the Facebook-Website connection so that some sense can be made for thick-headed folks like myself?
    Thank you

    Samuel, thank you for your bravery in addressing my obvious thickness. For what is worth I thought that when the instructions said to insert the code <!–contact form–> inside the “body” I assumed the “body” to be found inside the extensive HTML code of the plug-in itself. And looking at that code nowhere I found the <body> tag which I assume to identify the code that comes next.
    In the instance there seems to be an HTML page where “body” is not a <body>.
    Have a good week end.
