How do I do that? I assume I download the wp-content folder but how can I initiate the manual reinstall?

I’ve tried renaming the plugins folder (added .hold) and I still can’t log in. Also tried changing the name of my theme’s folder (suffusion. added .old) and no dice.

I tried running a repair on a few individual tables in the phpMyAdmin and it gave me this error-

#1142 – INSERT command denied to user

I have an email in to my hosting service to see what’s up but any other advice is appreciated.

I’m a complete newb- how does one run a repair on the database?

Just to add-

changing theme or disabling all plug-ins did not help. My database was reportedly over the limit due to an issue I have with the Pro Player plug-in but I cleared the database and the usage is back to normal (this is just something I’ve had to do).

Sorry to bump this, but I am still having the same problem and hope that I can get some assistance. I contacted the maker of the plugin and he said it seems like my database is not PHP 5 but given that our other site works fine and appears to be PHP5, I’m not sure where else to turn.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

That was a good idea, I narrowed it down to the Disqus plug in itself. Looks like I’ll be going back to them for further information.

Is anyone else using Disqus and have you experienced this issue?

Well, I found the culprit. I use Pro Player to have our podcasts embedded on our webpages. There is a function of Pro Player called “Playlists” and this is sitting at 36MB and climbing… I’m seeing what I can do about it. Thanks for your help but I think now it’s up to the writer of Pro Player to determine how to resolve this.

I don’t have access to the size as of this moment, but the plug in was something like “bb stats plug in.” I don’t remember the exact name.

there is one for a stats program that has about 900 lines. I’ve just been nervous about blasting away an entire table. If it’s just for a plug in, what are the chances it will bring my whole site down if I remove it? lol

The plug in I used to disable revisions also cleared out the old revisions, which allowed for around 8MB to be freed up. But that was back when my database usage was in the 20s.

There certainly seems to be a lot of stuff in the WP_Options section, I’ll see what I can find there.

I have the Clean Options Plug-In but I’m not certain what I’m supposed to be looking for here. Should I just use the Delete All option? Will all of my options repopulate afterwards?

I stopped the revisions for posts using a plug in, but I’ll check and see about Disqus to see if it’s adding too many revisions.

I think you’re right. But basically my issue is resolved if I can upload more than 40MB of pictures using to the wp-content/upload folder, as long as a picture/file doesn’t exceed 20MB in size, if that’s what you’re telling me. Am I correct?
