In reply to: [WooCommerce] SHOW products with 0 inventory but allow for back orderThanks, but as a developer myself, I was hoping you may be able to provide a function or hook example that might be of some help?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] SHOW products with 0 inventory but allow for back orderHi @maykato – unfortunately thats not going to work, as turning on the out of stock products shows a number variants, which are displayed using a 3rd party swatch plugin.
also the products we want hidden massively outweigh the products we want to show – therefore hiding each one would be very cumbersome.
is there any way to trick woocommerce into thinking a product is in stock?
Thanks for testing – I can see the transactions in GA, including a “real” order, however, before marking this as complete, I will check over the next few days to ensure that all transactions are being captured.
thanks
I’ve also just placed a test transaction using GTM debug, and can see gtm4wp.orderCompletedEEC being fired.
however, I had this previously, as can only debug on desktop. I will await to see if 2 transactions appear for my two tests.
please feel free to test this using the debug GTM link provided earlier in the thread.
Thanks @prabapro – I have now updated the trigger and placed a test order.
I can see the real-time event has fired in GAim awaiting to see if this appears in conversions in GA (nothing yet).
I can now see the screenshot, so the question would be why is this not triggering considering that all events and tags are configured correctly.
What access do you need to resolve this?
This has now been done – I added |test to the end of the regex and pushed a new version
please advise what is missing, if anything.
tinyurl not responding so im unable to see the screenshot.
I have just checked the trigger in GTM (latest published version):
gtm4wp.addProductToCartEEC|gtm4wp.productClickEEC|gtm4wp.removeFromCartEEC|gtm4wp.checkoutOptionEEC|gtm4wp.changeDetailViewEEC|gtm4wp.checkoutStepEEC
I can try to make an edit resave and publish another version.
hmmm – well, ive just published changes now, as I think I had reverted to a previous container version to test. please try a re-test order now.
Have also updated the bing tracking now (thanks for highlighting)
