Thanks again. Yes that is the million dollar question about the user profile issue.

We have never been able to access profiles.

This does not address the password and account update issues. We have tested everything even cross checked files on ftp server and reset all sections. Yet we can not update accounts, or update passwords. 404 errors every time.

Please share what we can do to get past these account update 404 errors and password update errors. Our pass reset works but not updates of any kind.

Any additional input we are at a loss here? Be glad to share login to admin in private so you can have a look. Still can not resolve the issues above…and about to add 250 new users from our old PM3 course but can not until we can fix these bugs in UM. Thank you!

No just all email and notification settings. UM is really acting weird lately as we are now having password issues and user profile 404 errors. Real drag :–)

We had to do a full reset to fix thus issue. UM / settings / full reset all sections. Real drag but fixed the email activation not sent issue.

Thanks you. yes :–) we are clear on that and have confirmed. Password reset has been addressed doing a FULL reset of all. Bummer as we had to rebuild all settings, emails, etc after. It only addressed password reset and email confirmation sent issues.

Thus still not working:
1) After user login attempts to use “change password” in user account returns a 404 page not fond error.

2) User attempts to update their account returns a 404 page not found error.

3) Admin clicks on link sent to review the new user profile returns 404 page not found error. e.g. https://www.vo101.com/user.html/tony (is this the right paths or is system giving wrong link?)

Thus profile update do not work – password change does not work – account update does not work. What has happened to UM?

NOTE: We have also just discovered that once inside a users account after login, if the users attempts to use “change password” it gives a 404 page not fond error. Very frustrated. :–(

Thank you so much for the quick reply. We have been able to send passwords from the standard password fields in the registration form until only Monday 5/22/17.

Here is our summary with UM as of today:
-version 1.3.84 (update plug-ins every day)
-deactivated and then re-activated plug-in 2x
-deactivated all other plug-ins didn’t help / no conflicts
-using only 1 reg form with assword field / password field confirmation

In Admin Approval Mode:
If in admin approval mode email is sent with NO password as stated.
If we use {password_reset_link} option in a sent email it loops back to login.
If we click on “password reset” it too loops back to login page.
If we click “forgot password” and user name is entered it loops to login.
<> NONE of these options now work and all use of password changes are broke.

In Email Activation Mode: (which is not what we want to use to approve)
If in email activation mode – NO email is sent to user after registration.
If we review and activate account in admin it only sends email activation if WE click RESEND email activation in admin panel.
Once user DOES finally get emailed activation, it shows green activation message BUT they have NO password to use unless they recall it during sign-up which no one ever can recall as we all know. lol

Please assist us as we are really unclear HOW users can receive their a password, HOW users can get email activation after registration, and WHY none of our password resets OR forgot password buttons work. This worked until Monday 5/22/17

* We have read on this forum that we are not alone as this is happening to many others. It makes no sense that a membership plug-in which we are dependent on with hundreds of users already and sign-ups daily can break in such as fashion.

* We use PP membership themes on some of our sites and passwords are being sent fine without any issues with new current versions of WP. So we are unclear as to why this is being blamed on WP no longer allowing “passwords” to be sent after reg anymore.

Kind of confused. :–) Not really advanced coders here so please help us fix these password sent, password resets, forgot password, email activation send issues.

Has anyone ever figured this out? Every password option does not work. So how is this plugin to function with a basic use of passwords? Very strange. Is this plugin broken? Kind of embarrassed with user base email freaking out…thoughts? ??

Still hoping to fix this verses drop plugin. Any further help?
