    Hello @dc360

    Thank you for your patience

W3 Total Cache stores the config settings in a config file on a server. In order for the config settings to sync up with every server, you can download a settings file from one server and upload it to the other server after the configuration is done.
Alternatively, you can move the wp-content folder to a shared directory on a file server. make sure the directory permissions allow modify rights just like your current wp-content folder. Then create a virtual directory within your website and point it to the shared path.
You can also do the same with the /cache/ folder only.
Let me know if this helps and if you have had better solution in mind.

    Thanks!

    Hello @greendroid

    Thank you for your feedback.
As I mentioned before, this is how the persistant cache works and there are a lot of Objects files created so when caching to disk, the files are created there.
When you purge all cache, the files are not deleted. This is what is called stale cache. It makes sure that the users are still being served with the cached page to avoid increased server response times and bad user experience. Once the page is visited the newly created cache file is created.

In all the cache management settings there is an option called Garbage collection interval: which is default 3600 seconds. Now depending on the configuration, this can create a lot of files and the files may not be removed if the cron kicks when another batch of files are created.
This is not a problem with the Page Cache, however, depending on the website, a lot of objects may be cahed and this depends on the theme, plugins etc.
This is why the best thing is to use memory-based caching when it comes to OC and DB Caching.
    I hope this helps!

    Thanks!

    Hello @greendroid

Thank you for reaching out and I am happy to help!
Just to confrm, you are using the Disk Caching method for all caching modules?

If this is the case, you can see the notification that Disk is not recommended fore OC and DB Caching and this is one of he reasons, because this is what persistant Object caching does.
Do you have the ability to install php module for Redis or Memcached on your server and does the provider allows that on your current plan?

    Thanks!

    Hello @dellalibera

Can you please clarify how are you using Redis + WP Rocket because the mentioned plugin does not utilize Redis in any way? Are you using Redis Object Cache?
This being said, the W3 Total Cache offers multiple cache engines for every feature, including Page Cache, Object Cache, DB Cache, Minify, etc.
If you use Redis for a caching method, for example, you can always purge specific pages manually, in the top admin bar Performance>Purge Current Page (if you visit the page while logged in) or use wp cli wp w3-total-cache flush post

If any page is updated, in the Page Cache section there is a purge policy which can be configured to specify when the cache is purged.
If the singe page is updated, the cache is only cleared for that page and possibly posts page if it’s a blog article.
    I hope this helps!
    Thanks!

    Hello @stevebrett

    Thank you for yoru feedback.
The only thing I see that may be used is alignnone if it’s added for all images as other images on the websites do not have that class.
This being said, you can try adding alignnone to the Performance>User Experience>Exclude words: section and let me know if it helps
Make sure to purge all cache once this is added

    Thanks!

    Hello @jamieburchell

Thank you for reaching out adn I am happy to help!
The Maximum lifetime of cache objects should be the same as the garbage collection interval. The nonce is valid by default for 12hrs however, it can be changed in the development of specific things. It also depends on what is it used for.
So instead of using 1 hour, you can set everything to a higher time frame but lower than 12 hours, so for example 10 hours or 11

We will be adding some new options in the W3 Total Cache where you can specify the cache purge at a specific time and also some other options for more persistent caching.

    I hope this helps!

    Thanks!

    Hello @stevebrett

    Thank you for your feedback.
If possible, can you share the HTML for this image or the images that are added? So for example, like the image I shared:

    <img width="600" height="79" src="https://digitalsilverimaging.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/DSI-logo-Color-Bar-600.jpg" data-src="https://digitalsilverimaging.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/DSI-logo-Color-Bar-600.jpg" class="custom-logo lazy loaded" alt="Digital Silver Imaging Logo" decoding="async" data-srcset="https://digitalsilverimaging.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/DSI-logo-Color-Bar-600.jpg 600w, https://digitalsilverimaging.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/DSI-logo-Color-Bar-600-300x40.jpg 300w" data-sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" srcset="https://digitalsilverimaging.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/DSI-logo-Color-Bar-600.jpg 600w, https://digitalsilverimaging.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/DSI-logo-Color-Bar-600-300x40.jpg 300w" data-was-processed="true">

    Hello @stevebrett

    Thank you for the clarification.
The selector can be used also, however, can you please share the image that was excluded or is the a problem with the uploaded images on the page?

I can only see the logo image here:

    Hello @rsdotscot

    Thank you for your feedback.
I am not sure if that role exist in your case. I’ve just created the mentioned role and it is now showing in the Page Cache settings. Please check the screenshot below:

    Hello @jamieburchell

    Hello @rsdotscot

Thank you for reaching out and I am happy to help!
In the Performance>Page Cache – General box, there are two options: ”?Don’t cache pages for logged-in users” and ”?Don’t cache pages for following user roles”

If I understand correctly, you want to disable the cache only for the ?‘no role’ and ‘subscriber’ roles?
If this is the case, disable the ”?Don’t cache pages for logged-in users” and enable”?Don’t cache pages for following user roles”, making sure to select user roles that should not receive cached pages like ‘no role’ and ‘subscriber’

All other roles will have the pages cached for them.
Your framing of the question is somewhat confusing so please let me know if I got this correctly

    Thanks!

    Hello @stevebrett
Thank you for reaching out and I am happy to help!

Can you please share more details about this and the example of the form (URL would be best)
You can exclude the images from being lazyloaded by either adding the full URL of the image or adding a class name fore examle that is set for the image.
Are there any specific class manes for the images in those forms?

    Thanks!
