If any of you are still interested in fixing SCA and direct charges issues with Stripe split pay for WCFM, I suggest we should team up and coordinate our efforts. It’s a relatively straight-forward coding task, we should even be able to hire a freelancer and split the costs.

I think WCFM is not willing to do it because for most scenarios, where it’s possible for the cart to contain items from multiple vendors, the current implementation is the only way to do it. They probably don’t have many paying customers who are both from Europe where SCA is mandatory, who also need direct charges but don’t have multi-vendor transactions.

At this point it’s pretty obvious WCFM will continue to ignore this, even though they directly promised me to implement it multiple times, for example here: https://wclovers.com/forums/topic/stripe-split-pay-w-direct-charge-for-single-vendor-orders-is-it-implemented/

But if we don’t represent a big enough group to motivate WCFM to solve this in-house, we might still be able to join our forces and solve it ourselves one way or another. If you are interested in solving this, contact me at wcfm (at) mihalyborbely dot com and we’ll figure something out together.
