Hi not sure if I can add on to this discussion but I am having similar issue where my website will not preview a new theme and when I activate it the screen goes blank white and displays HTTP error 500.
Does anyone have any idea why my site won’t accept newly uploaded themes?

I had exactly the same problem with auto slide not working after I purchased the Slider on 4/6/16. After spending hours trying to get it to work I contacted [email protected] and they told me “I am really sorry for the issue, we had some bugs with slider which was fixed the next day.”
They promised to send me the slider with bugs fixed but I am STILL WAITING over a month later and they won’t reply to my emails!!!
Cannot believe that I paid $44 for a plugin that doesn’t work!!
Also, the configurations for slider cannot be altered for other pages in your website so you can only use the one size slider throughout.
So frustrating to waste good money on this plugin and poor tech support.
Please let me know if they assisted you in fixing this problem Alina.
