In reply to: [Manage Notification E-mails] Update just now gives fatal errorsHi @z2zoop, the commit sadly missed some files. I directly added the missing files to the commit. Do you have the auto-update enabled for this plugin? The missing files issue was just 2 minutes, I’m sorry for this inconvenience

In reply to: [Manage Notification E-mails] Version 1.7.1 not available?Hi @intarwebsdeveloper, you can find 1.7.1 on the advanced view page. Go to the dropdown on the end af the page ‘download specific versions’ below the title previous versions. This version is good, only not tested on a large audience yet.
Hi @smithjhsn, thank you for your comment. It’s difficult to explain how to fix this problem. Sometimes it’s possible that another plugin overrules the disabled behavior. If you have a test environment, I suggest to deinstall the plugins and activate them one by one, so you can find out which one is causing this behavior.

In reply to: [Manage Notification E-mails] I no longer receive alertsHi @yossiyerushami, The plugin can be safely de-installed if you have any problems. Most of the time when a problem occurs with the plugin, it’s because it is not working well together with another plugin that controls e-mails. A good way to find out is to disable the plugins and activate them one by one and test if the plugin is working as expected.
Hi @groovyx9, this is enabled by security design. A failing plugin update is an issue that can not be ignored. If one of the plugins is failing to update, a better solution would be to turn off the auto-update for that plugin (So you don’t receive the e-mail with the fail warning for that plugin). After the plugin is fixed, you can turn on auto-update for that plugin again.
Cheers!

In reply to: [Manage Notification E-mails] Multisite > All Emails deactivated OOTB@hussong thank you for your valuable comment. A comment like this one is really helpful! As you already noticed, the plugin isn’t optimized for multi-sites yet. It’s on my to-do list ;-). I will look into it and prioritize this one! I can understand that this is not what you should expect at first.

In reply to: [Manage Notification E-mails] How do conflicting settings work?Hi @freshyjon, that’s a good question. These checks are an extra feature and will overrule the default settings in WordPress. It’s a little bit of legacy functionality and did some extra overruling for some other plugins. Understandable that it confuses you.
