Thanks for your video, hope you have added the shortcode to show the item, but those shortcode items have external link, which is pointing away from the Dashboard. Hope you should understand the logic of that shortcode link and override it.

@functionmunchkin No It wont show the admin dashboard theme. Frontend Dashboard works with its own theme and match with any WordPress theme.

You can restrict the post by user role in WP Admin | Frontend Dashboard | Frontend Dashboard | Post/Custom Post

Select the respective post type | Allow User Roles to Add/Edit/Delete

Yes, you have two action hooks to achieve your validation.

do_action( 'fed_register_before_validation', $post );
apply_filters( 'fed_register_form_submit', $post );

File Name : includes/frontend/request/login/register.php
