Hi Liz,
Unfortunately, Gallery Factory manages only its own images and can’t be used for standard WP Media files.I’m sorry for the late answer.
This error usually means that your server runs an ancient PHP version. Gallery Factory plugin is built to run on PHP version 5.4 or later (5.6 recommended).Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Gallery Factory Lite] i can’t click on picturesHi,
Checked it now – works flawlessly for me. Have you fixed anything?
If not, please try to clear your browser’s cache, it may help.It seems that for some reason metadata of (at least) one of the images went missing. I’m not sure if it’s the general problem for all your images or just one corrupted image, so I can’t propose the right solution yet.
Is there a chance to get a dump of your database? Please write me to [email protected] so we’ll be able to proceed with the discussion in private.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Gallery Factory Lite] Import images from WordPress Media LibraryHi,
I apologize for the late answer, but there is good news.
The version 2.0 is released and it allows to import images from the native WP Media library. Go to the “Gallery Factory” -> “Tools” menu and you’ll find the “Import from WP Media” tab there.Hi,
I’ve tried to make this info as visible as possible (it’s in the release note and “Installation” section of the plugin page), but you’re likely to miss it…
Due to the major database structure update in the version 2.0 you need to deactivate and reactivate the plugin back after the automatic upgrade (on activation the database will be updated). Also, after the activation it’s needed to regenerate thumbnail images (using “Gallery Factory” – “Tools” admin menu item).
Let me know if it doesn’t help.Best,

In reply to: [Gallery Factory Lite] Gallery not working in firefoxHi,
I’ve checked the link using Firefox, everything seems normal to me. Have you solved the problem?
If not, which Firefox version do you use and on what device?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Gallery Factory Lite] Gallery Factory how rename & sort picturesI’m sorry for misleading you, I haven’t noticed that you’re writing about the premium plugin (I didn’t expect it here, as usually premium plugin is discussed on it’s page on CodeCanyon or via support requests). There are only 2 variants – Lite (hosted here, on www.remarpro.com) and Premium (available on CodeCanyon, the one you’ve purchased already).
I can understand what is you problem, I’ll add the filename column to the album’s table view.
If you have any further questions, feel free to submit a support request via CodeCanyon. Usually that way you’ll get much better response time.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Gallery Factory Lite] FeaturesSure, I can send you an example. That’s as easy as setting one rule for a selector.
This can be done by custom CSS only in premium version as well, but I plan to change that soon.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Gallery Factory Lite] Gallery Factory how rename & sort picturesHi,
The current lite version only lets you to change image captions and descriptions one-by-one from the image edit dialog. The filename cannot be changed once image is uploaded.
Captions and descriptions are sourced from image metadata during upload, so you may use any EXIF editing tool to set image names in bulk before loading them to Gallery Factory – that’s the most convenient option, to my opinion.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Gallery Factory Lite] FeaturesHi,
Thank you for your interest!Yes, the premium version provides the option to choose the image click action. So an image thumbnail can open any custom image URL in a lightbox or redirect to a custom URL.
You may check the plugin’s documentation on this topic: https://galleryfactory.vilyon.net/documentation.html#section-image-editor-settingsIf you’re comfortable with editing CSS styles, you can drop a file named custom.css into the plugin’s css folder and override any standard style there. If you need some examples of custom styling, ping me with a message via CodeCanyon and I’ll send you some variants.

In reply to: [Gallery Factory Lite] ERRO: Warning: Illegal string offsetHi,
You need to set a layout for this album first (or at least save the proposed default layout once). Switch to the “Layout” tab and click the “Update layout” button there.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Gallery Factory Lite] Not Working on iPhone5 or 6 in ChromeUnfortunately, I don’t have a physical device with iOS9 on board, and the emulator I’m using for tests (browserstack.com) provides only Safari browser – so I can’t check it thoroughly right now.
My friend sent me some screenshots, from them I can see that the gallery itself looks as it’s intended (and consistent between devices/browsers), the only problem I’ve noticed is a gap between the top of the screen and the lightbox overlay (probably it has the height equal to the notification bar).
I’ll try to figure it out, but I have no clue at the moment.
I’d greatly appreciate if you could send your screenshots to [email protected].Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Gallery Factory Lite] Not Working on iPhone5 or 6 in ChromeHi, could you post a link to the page so I’ll be able to check it? The conflict with one of your site’s elements is quite probable.

In reply to: [Gallery Factory Lite] Custom folders?Hi,
Folders and albums within Gallery Factory are stored as a native WP custom posts. So you can develop your own theme (or extend the one you’re using) utilizing these custom post types and using Gallery Factory as a back-end. GF shortcode printout function can be called within PHP so that’s result in flawless integration.
If you’re asking about the way to do it without any programming, then unfortunately that feature is not there yet. It’s one of the priority features for the next releases (but it’ll will definitely hit the premium version first).
