  • You are right, there was obviously a permission issue, but I am curious of the cause. Anyway, thanks for the quick reply.

    Hi, I agree also, since the update 1.84 i believe, whem hoovering over the stars they are not displayed, seems plugin is searching for “…/images/stars/rating_1_on.gif” but there is no such file. (this is an example)

    I see a lot of unanswered topics, is anybody even in charge of this support?

    Hm, but I cleared the site caches, and it’s still happening… user side cache?

    Also, accessing the store via mobile phone loads the new PayPal interface correctly.
    It seems Chrome and Firefox load the old interface:
    I see a nice blue lock loading the new interface (webapps/hermes), and then it switches to the old interface (/cgi-bin/websrc)
    Testing with Edge, it loads the new interface with no problems.

    Thanks for any advice or help!

    Online I run old version that works fine. Can’t have this online before it’s resolved… anything I can do to give you better insight?

    Tried, also tried replacing with new file, only thing that happens is “Update cart” button appearing (originally there is no).

    I can’t figure out what’s the button calling, so I don’t know where to look.
    Form containing the button:

    <div class="main_checkout_form">
    <p class="total_cart"><strong>Total</strong> <span class="woocommerce-Price-amount amount"><span class="woocommerce-Price-currencySymbol">$</span>19.99</span></p>
    <div class="woocommerce">
    <form name="checkout" method="post" class="checkout woocommerce-checkout" action="https://www.example.net/store/cart/">

    <div id="order_review">
        <div id="payment">
                    <ul class="payment_methods methods">
                                        <li class="payment_method_paypal">
                                <input id="payment_method_paypal" type="radio" class="input-radio" name="payment_method" value="paypal"  checked='checked' data-order_button_text="Proceed to PayPal" />
                                <label for="payment_method_paypal">PayPal </label>
                                <div class="payment_box payment_method_paypal" ><p>Pay via PayPal; you can pay with your credit card if you don’t have a PayPal account</p>
    </div>

            <div class="form-row place-order">

                <noscript>Since your browser does not support JavaScript, or it is disabled, please ensure you click the <em>Update Totals</em> button before placing your order. You may be charged more than the amount stated above if you fail to do so.<input type="submit" class="button alt" name="woocommerce_checkout_update_totals" value="Update totals" /></noscript>

                <input type="hidden" id="_wpnonce" name="_wpnonce" value="c667b3bf3c" /><input type="hidden" name="_wp_http_referer" value="/store/cart/" />

                <input type="submit" class="button alt" name="woocommerce_checkout_place_order" id="place_order" value="Proceed to Paypal" data-value="Proceed to Paypal" />
            </div>
            <div class="clear"></div>
        </div>
    </div></form>
    </div>
    </div>

    and in Chrome i see that on click it calls:
    cart.min.js
    add-to-cart.min.js
    shortcodes.js

    (@vikler)

    yes, as i said beffore, i tried another theme (storefront) and everything works just good. So it was clear issue is in the theme I use, just had no idea where to search for the issue.

    Thread Starter vikler

    (@vikler)

    yes, I “inherited” a custom theme that has to be used.
    Thank you for quick resposes anyway!

    Thread Starter vikler

    (@vikler)

    Update:
    if I delete cart.min.js, works just fine!

    Thread Starter vikler

    (@vikler)

    Ok, thanks.
    If I get to a reasonable solution I’ll post it here.

    Thread Starter vikler

    (@vikler)

    even replacing all of those doesn’t fix the thing.
    Do you have any clue why would simply replacing cart.min.js solve the issue?
