In reply to: No RSS icon in address bar!!Jeff of Pagelines theme replied to me on email and found the solution. Please read it below. He will also update the theme soon.
I tweaked the header as suggested and it worked. The RSS icon is showing now in the address bar! Thanks Jeff and this issue now may be considered as closed.Hey Vikas,
I found where the problem was. I’m going to be posting an update on wordpress with this change.
In the meantime add this line to the header.php file in your theme directory under “<!– WordPress Stuff –>”:
<link rel=”alternate” type=”application/rss+xml” title=”<?php bloginfo(‘name’); ?> RSS Feed” href=”<?php bloginfo(‘rss2_url’); ?>” />

That is very interesting. If you click on the about-us page on https://skepticgeek.com, the rss icon shows up. Let me take a look at this and get back to you.
James Fuller read this issue on Friendfeed and tried to help on Twitter too but in vain.
Further replies from the theme developer(s) if any will be updated here.
Switzer,
Thank you very much for the help. I am very busy presently. Will contact you some other time. Presently I am using some other plugin but will want to use the Advertising Manager soon. Thanks.

In reply to: Easy AdSense plugin text wrap questionMy site is https://vikas-gupta.in
BTW I am https://vikas-gupta.in and I had installed your plugin on 21 Dec 2009
I had installed it on Dec 21, 2009 and uninstalled it after an hour! It could even be a bug in WP 2.9 (I am low on tech knowledge).
I had installed it five days ago and it was not working! I changed to another plugin. It was just not showing ads! I am with HOstgator servers WP 2.9. Will test it again now that you are claiming its’ working. I had voted that it’s broken!

In reply to: [Plugin: Easy AdSense] Easy AdSense Setup ScreenI think and is correct in the Google line. It is 3 ad links and 3 ad block (so total 6 on one page allowed). I have clearly read this in the AdSense forums too.

In reply to: [Plugin: Easy AdSense] BEWARE! This is a *scam*I read a lot of posts calling in question Manoj (plugin developer) on this (he has also replied to some). I think he should settle this once for all.

In reply to: Updating links while shifting from wordpress.comIpstenu,
Thanks.
I will take time in learning things. I was unable to work with the database area due to low tech knowledge.
I submitted a ticket to wordpress.com suggesting the bug in wordpress import-export. They found out the bug, thanked me and now I just tested the export-import again within wordpress.com and the images are now loaded from the new blog files (and not the old one). So the bug is fixed. But I cannot reimport again because I have made many changes on my blog now.
Will learn database changing soon or seek some WP expert friend who can do it for me. Thanks again.

Thanks for the Lorelle link (it is a 2005 post but I think it is not outdated). Will read it and update the developments here.

I am using that plugin and I wrote in the original post here.
The images are loading from old wordpress account. I have not a search and replace for images on this blog but only done in a test blog and it does not work!
Thanks for the help.
