Thank you very much for your help. I found out the real culprit. As said by you the URL of Paypal is wrongly entered in the social link on top of the web page.

Thanks for your reply. Within 1 day, more than 2000 404 URLs (i.is.cc/2amSd9dW.png) are being generated. Sample URLs are as follows:

https://www.homenaturalcures.com//tag/primrose-oil-uses/paypal.me/naturalcure
https://www.homenaturalcures.com//tag/causes-of-fungal-infection/paypal.me/naturalcure
https://www.homenaturalcures.com//tag/coconut-milk-nutrition-facts/paypal.me/naturalcure
https://www.homenaturalcures.com//tag/how-to-fix-a-fatty-liver/paypal.me/naturalcure

By default my 404 plugin redirects them to my home page. I can see that all these are being generated from the tags of my website.

Kindly have a look into this.

Thanks for your reply. I did not add any shortcode. Also, I’ve removed the plugin almost 6 months back and my cache plugin clears cache regularly.

If the plugin recorded my URL change from

https://www.homenaturalcures.com//health-benefits-of-squash-seeds/
to
https://www.homenaturalcures.com/health-benefits-squash-seeds

and it created an entry in the auto-redirect (i.e change from “x” to “y”), then creating wrong re-directs by auto-redirect can be avoided.
