The CSS code is to reduce the transition time for the effect, this isn’t the solution to bring the hover effect to mobile, please read the thread completely.

On mobile, the effect can be revealed by a click.

We could reproduce the depreciation issue and it’s a soft deprecated notice, this will not affect the site or plugin performance.

We will update the deprecated function on the next plugin update.
Hope you have enabled the define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, true ); to display all notice messages in the front end.

Please disable it, for now, to avoid printing the errors on the front-end.
