Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: Second instance install in sub folder questionThanks… I did it that way and it worked. I was surprised with the fact that it greeted me with a install page the first time I tried to access wp-login.
Also not all of my settings were brought over. I’ll lay down the behavior in case anyone have to come back to this:
=> Settings brought over:
– Installed plugins
– Installed theme (however not enabled by default)
– Theme settings (css)
– php file modifications=> Not brought over:
– Users (including admin)
– Posts
– Site name
– Site descriptionI don’t think pages and links (blogroll) were imported, however I did get a lot of data back by importing the xml backup.

In reply to: Another theme/paragraph problemThanks for the reply guys! ??
In regards to the thickbox.css, will it interfere even thou the plugin is not enabled? wpng-calendar did not play well with the non-dynamic sidebar for the old theme that I’m using so I decided to use an iframe instead.
Thanks,
Vic.
