Not clear on how I create a child theme. Is this done within the WordPress Dashboard? Where do I go? What do I press? I don’t see a “Create Directory” button anywhere. This page:

OK, I will try to implement your suggestions.

But since I’ve already made some minor edits, is there a way to restore the original code that shows when I click on Appearance > Editor while inside the WP dashboard?

hi again, thanks for your note – i have no idea how to do that as i am not very technical – i was pretty sure it was the one i mentioned above in quotes, since that was always auto-completed in the uname field when i would enter the site – appreciate any direction you can provide – my skype ID is vhutheesing – thanks!

yes i have, and my uname “rblockadmin” was not even recognized, and so i entered what i thought was my email address, and got a password reset email which i used to restart the account – the problem is that the account i restarted (this one) is another account i set up a while ago but did not use

so i am missing all of my company’s HTML pages as well as my blog posts – any suggestions?

incidentally, i am using a different WP account to post this, since the other account seems to have disappeared
