In reply to: [Wordfence Security - Firewall, Malware Scan, and Login Security] ScanningI still don’t know what’s the meaning : “This file contains a URL that is currently listed on Wordfence’s domain blocklist. The URL is: []URL redacted by moderator”
I have deleted it, but it continues reappearing in scan results.
What do I need to do to get rid of it?

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Submitted sitemap reports 3 errorsHi Michael Tina:
Thank you for your advice.
I went back to my web host and assured me they disabled the display error in php.ini. Now, they say, my site is no longer showing that error message.
Regarding REST API issue, web host disabled the error on my site and added this code in my config file: define (‘WP_DEBUG’, false).
My question now is do I resubmit the sitemap (https://www.myeatingright.com/sitemap_index.xml.) to Google Search Console?
Looking forward to your comments.
Best regards,

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Submitted sitemap reports 3 errorsHello Suwash Kunwar :
Thank you again for your prompt response. As I mentioned earlier, I did not proceed to perform a conflict check because the critical security issue causing Google to show errors for the sitemap has been fixed by my web host.
Are you in agreement? Has my site stop interfering with Yoast SEO generated XML sitemap? Could you please check this out?
Looking forward to your reply.
Ps. I wasn’t notified via email of this reply. Please make sure you do this time around

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Submitted sitemap reports 3 errorsHello Suwash Kunwar :
I think I know where the problem originates.
My website reported a security critical issue, stating “site is set to display errors to visitors”. It also reported “The REST API does not process the context query parameter correctly”.
Let me elaborate on the first critical issue.”Debug mode is often enable to gather more details about an error or site failure, but may contain sensitive information which would not be available on a publicly available website. The value WP_DEBUG_ DISPLAY has either been enabled by WP_DEBUG or added to your configuration file. This will make errors display on the front end of your site”
Could this has been the culprit?
In any case it has now been fixed. The second one remains.
Please let me have your thoughts on this one

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] XML SitemapHello Md Mazedul Islam Khan:
Thank you for your prompt response.I looked in the wrong spot to find the sitemap index. The correct place is SEO-General, then the XML Sitemap Feature. There I found the 2 URLs I thought were missing.
With reference to my last Sitemap submission of November 24, I thought this would be reflected or shown in Yoast SEO XML Sitemap Feature, mentioned above, or should it be?
Hope this clarifies my earlier email

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Sitemap submission to GoogleHello Priscilla:
Thank you for your prompt response. You stated on your email: “Submitting your sitemap to Google one time is all you need to do to have Google index your pages”
On the other hand, Google states
“To request indexing of many new or updated pages, your best choice is to submit a sitemap, with the updated pages marked by <lastmod>”
If I’m going to submit a sitemap again to Google, shouldn’t I marked by <last mod> the two error pages?

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Sitemap submission to GoogleHello:
Last December 1, Google Search Console detected noindex files on my website and asked me to fix errors, which I did – see attached screenshot (https://monosnap.com/file/vKqqFICtXkgQ7GtUjSRv54Da9vGQpJ)Also, Live Test gave positive results
Now, I want to request indexing and Google informs me “Request indexing is temporarily unavailable”, the only option, Google adds, is to submit a sitemap with the updated pages marked by <lastmod>.
The two mentioned pages are as follows: https://www.myeatingright.com/tag/way/ and https://www.myeatingright.com/tag/sustainable/
Last Nov. 24, I submitted sitemap to Google and the last read status of Nov. 29 was successful.
What can I do?
Grateful for your advice.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Sitemap submission to GoogleHello Suwash Kunwar :
Thank you for your prompt response.
I just wanted to make sure I’m submitting the correct format. Is this the one:
https://www.myeatingright.com/sitemap_index.xml?Please let me know ASAP, so I can submit it
Best regards,
Enrique VanegasHello Patrick:
I don’t know if we are on the same page.I want to use formats like JPEG 2000, JPEG XR, and WebP because they provide better compression than PNG or JPEG, which means faster downloads and less data consumption.
It happens that my theme, because of some coding problems, cannot be converted to these next generation formats. You’re suggesting me that in order to circumvent this problem is to use a child theme ie. a child theme I can copy the file that needs to be modified and update without affecting the original theme.
Do I read you well?. Please clarify.
Thanks,
Enrique VanegasHello Prathamesh :
Thank you for your prompt reply. The authors want me to adjust the coding so that the theme file can be converted to WebP. They didn’t tell me how because they suggested for me to hire a web developer
As I mentioned earlier web developers cost an arm and a leg and I don’t have the money.
I don’t want to use a child theme. I want to continue using the same theme because I have already invested time and money.
My question to you is how do I adjust the coding?
Thank you,
Enrique VanegasHi Predrag :
Thank you very much in contacting me. It’s timely. It turns out that the theme page is the culprit for slow loading time.
As you may know a slow WordPress theme, slow business.
As we progress into the new age of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) we are seeing some rankings factors that are becoming much more critical than ever. As Google gets more content, they need new ways to distinguish the quality of a website, in particular when the content is in parity. One of the things that is starting to act as a “difference maker” when it comes to rankings believe it or not, is the theme choice.
I have contacted the developers (Superb Themes) and they replied back saying the only way to convert the theme page to WebP format is to adjust the coding.
The theme is defined in the background and it isn’t part of the HTML. The coding isn’t defining the image.
The key is to make the theme load in the basic HTML way. Once it’s doing that the Java Script that runs to display the WebP version of an image can see the image in the HTML and do its work.
SuperbThemes Support’s advice “to code your custom changes” in Appearance -> Theme Editor.
I’m attaching two screenshots. Themes. Editor https://monosnap.com/file/kxczUw18tuEsu9n53U1bMuYPhZb9y4
And Theme. Header https://monosnap.com/file/mMhpMgLdrFdxPp9GbkRp2hkW9warZyHas someone posted a similar question and received an answer with the code(s) they need to edit?
The alternative is to hire a web developer, but it costs an arm and a leg.
Any suggestion you can give me to fix this problem would be highly appreciated.
Cheers,
Enrique Vanegas
