Could you tell me why my home page gallery boxes (towards the bottom of the page) are not centred and not using the full space. If you look they are too small and set to the left?

Yes I know the plugin needs an update but the new version doesn’t work on my site.

Surely there is a better way to fill an empty event than using 404 or a 200.

From having almost no 404’s to having hundreds from a plugin is yes worrying, and the fact you’ve had to write a blog about it clearly indicates people have an issue with it?

How about some default text, and set the page to noindex?? And bit of code to then hide pages that have the default text?

So what you are saying is yes the plugin creates empty events on dual language sites, but we don’t know why.

There is no way to remove them.

We just sit and wait for google to forget they are there?

If that’s correct the plugin should warn you not to use the plugin on dual language sites. Or it needs a code change to stop this happening in future??

The site was last indexed on the 25th, and the empty links still showing.

categorie or Category is in the plug in somewhere Ie I didn’t add it.

The next bit was entered by me as the events needed a “Add New Event Category” Verbier things to do

The last bit is again from the plugin is the date

And I’m not a techy with the skills to play with code

So this event is in English and French.

My site is in French and English but there is no automated translation of pages. I use Qtranslate as the plugin which just creates a FR blank page for me to add the FR text

Yes its using a multilingual plugin

So in English the URL is https://www.kartingextremeverbier.com/event/foire-du-valais/ and French it creates this – https://www.kartingextremeverbier.com/fr/event/foire-du-valais/ Just adds “FR”.

These false links only appeared after I installed the plugin (nothing else has really change on the site for a long time.)

Any clue of getting rid of them?

The plugin page shows “You can specify ranges using the following format: 123.23.34.[1-50]”

But MSN has so many which I guess is different ranges
So what is the format to block each group/range

You can’t find it as I uninstalled it. Too many things wouldn’t work.
