Our issue was resolved. It was conflicting with another plugin we use called Lasso. Lasso released an update that fixed that issue. Thanks.
I don’t see a “default” mode in the settings. It’s set to “post name” which I believe it’s always been. I’m wondering if reverting back to a previous version will see if it’s something that happened with the latest version.
The same thing happened to us. None of our new or previous pretty links are working.
Hello,
Tried settings/permalinks then “save” and still the same issue. We’ll try reinstalling but I don’t want to mess with anything else on the site until after Cyber Monday.
Hi Rogier,
Thanks for your reply. We are using the Pretty Links plugin. We have 380 links shortened using the plugin. We are using the Lite version.
Our site has been using SSL for several years and we’ve never had an issue with Pretty Links until now. The issue seemed to start after Really Simple SSL updated several days ago. The subsequent RS SSL updates have not resolved the issue.
As several examples, you will see that these links return 404 errors:
https://www.vegetarianzen.com/350
https://www.vegetarianzen.com/plantbasedpro
https://www.vegetarianzen.com/rouxbemembershipAll of the links we have created over the past 6-7 years are now doing this.
I’m not sure how to re-save all of the shortened links as you and Mark suggested. Thanks for your help!

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Yoast not working anymore with WP 5.5I’m having the same issue and am at a loss for what to do. I have the Yoast Premium plugin installed but let me Premium subscription expire 2 years ago so it just reverted to the free version. I’m wondering if installing the free plugin and deactivating/uninstalling the Premium plugin would help?
TIA for any assistance!

In reply to: [Posts in Page] Page text does not display when using Posts in Page shortcodeUPDATE: I’ve been messing with this thing most of last night and this morning, and I finally got the shortcode to work, but I had to change the page template. My podcast page was set up on the blog template, which does not work with the Posts-In-Page shortcode. I changed it to the default template, and the shortcode works fine.
The problem I’m having now is that the formatting on the default template is different from the rest of my pages (post titles are larger and blue instead of black, categories and tags are larger, etc).
So I guess my question now is, how do I either:
change the formatting on the default template
OR
get the shortcode to work on the blog template?
Here’s the page as it is now, using the default template:
https://www.vegetarianzen.com/podcast/Sorry to be a pain, but I just don’t understand all of the deep-underneath coding (yet!).
Thanks so much for your continued help!

In reply to: [Posts in Page] Page text does not display when using Posts in Page shortcodeWell, I removed the category page from my navigation menu and added the Podcast page which has the posts-in-page code on it: https://www.vegetarianzen.com/podcast/
For some reason, however, the posts-in-page code isn’t doing what is supposed to; that is, it’s pulling all of my posts into the page, not just the ones from the podcast category. Here’s the code I have on the page: [ic_add_posts category=’category-podcast’].
Thanks for any help!

In reply to: Request help aligning badges in a postThanks, CrouchingBruin! I was afraid the preview link wouldn’t work. Somehow, I have no idea how, I actually got them to line up! Not asking questions, just glad it works right now!
Thanks for your input.
