I concur…same problem with all of my websites.
These seems like an extreme relevant example where this particular thread started by me was meant just to alert the developer and now it stands to vilify the developer which is not good. Please delete my thread.
Everything looks good now..I clicked a couple of links from the WordPress plugin website…all good now…can you delete this thread?

Ok, I did receive the email about 2 hours later and was able to install.
I had the same experience. Just tried to install…never got the email so I uninstalled. It has been my fav security gateway but, this road block prohibits me using in the future.

YEP….did all that before with these sites in question and I got to a point where the database migrated with no errors but then I determined once someone initiated a donation and was about to launch to PayPal Standard, the WordPress error message came up.My mySql platform is current….that is not the problem.
On the newer websites where I can run you updates, it keeps generating new redundant Donor Dashboard pages…one site it actually created five pages for the donor dashboard.
With all the other posts about this last big update, I cannot afford and my clients cannot afford to beta test this code…..so, if I have to NEVER update, that is what has to happen but, unfortunately, because your plugin has worked so well in the past, this major update is problematic.

I just has my web hosting company revert all my older websites that had been using this plugin to an April 1st backup and now those sites are operational again.
On one site that gets frequent donations, it looks like on April 6th something happened that killed the ability to take donations.

Toggling on Advanced Database Updates
Viewing System Info (which now shows success)
Refreshing UPDATE several times until I get a window that says “Restart Migration”.
Toggle OFF Advanced Database Updates.Thanks for your reply. Step 3 nets a message of something like Refresh your screen, not available. I did a screen grab of my system info but would not want to post that image here for security reasons.
As I update the plugin with my various active installs, I get the same error message for all websites.
“There was a problem running the migrations. Please reach out to GiveWP support for assistance: https://givewp.com/support”
