In reply to: High CPU Load After Update to v4.3Just writing to say THANKS – when I look at my resource graph over the past 28 days, I can see the memory usage creeping up and it’s more than halved after this fix! And no CPU warnings at all.
What a crazy bug.

In reply to: Need help deleting thousands of "one-off" cron jobsThank you guys. I truly do appreciate the help. This little bug caused a great deal of frustration for me, but I’m grateful that the community supports each other so well.

In reply to: Need help deleting thousands of "one-off" cron jobsThank you! Running the command that ItalyExpat mentions worked to remove all those extra cron jobs, but I’m noticing new ones being created every time I refresh the page on “Cron Manager”.
They look like this:
– wp_batch_split_terms -1440625843 One-off event 1440625840
Any idea how I can find out what’s creating that?

In reply to: Why did "Parallelize downloads across hostnames" break?https://www.mobify.com/blog/domain-sharding-bad-news-mobile-performance
An oldish article, so I’m not sure if it’s relevant.
The google pagespeed insights gives me 52/100 for mobile (up from around 30), but the suggestions make no sense as I’m already implementing most of those “fixes” (i.e. minify, browser caching, image optimization, etc.). I score 96/100 on user experience, so that’s probably a good thing.

In reply to: Why did "Parallelize downloads across hostnames" break?I’m trying to find out of vaultpress will backup my files if I put images on a subdomain… waiting for confirmation.
I also read that mobile browsers take a hit when running subdomains (domain sharding). Not sure I want to do that, since most of my traffic comes from mobile.

In reply to: Why did "Parallelize downloads across hostnames" break?I’m getting a 97% and 94% on GTMetrix, but the pingdom scores are tanking only because of the “Parallelize downloads across hostnames”. LOL I can’t help my OCD, but this is crazy.

In reply to: Why did "Parallelize downloads across hostnames" break?FYI: Cloudflare said it’s not a problem on their end. I’m so confused as to why this would just come out of nowhere.

In reply to: Why did "Parallelize downloads across hostnames" break?just checked few website i have on cloudflare, strangely they are displaying same recommendation.
I wonder if I should ask Cloudflare if this is an issue on their end.
I might give wp super cache a try too. Thanks!

In reply to: Why did "Parallelize downloads across hostnames" break? Thanks laliz. I never had to do this before, and my score for “Parallelize downloads across hostnames” was always 100 – something changed recently and my host believes it’s the w3 plugin (which I highly doubt as I haven’t seen others complain of this).
I’m aware of the subdomain implementation, but I’d rather find out what caused things to go out of whack.

In reply to: Images appear to be loading twiceLooks like I may have found the answer:
I disabled CloudFlare’s “Rocket Loader” after noticing that my twitter feeds widget wasn’t loading, and there doesn’t appear to be anymore double loading of images, but my pingdom scores have dropped to 74/100 with this change – even though real-world use seems much better than previously.
Can anyone explain why that is?
