Hi there,
The above error screenshot you shared is not related to podcast player. Podcast player do not generate these messages in dashboard.
This is some other plugin showing some encoding error with the audio you shared above. Please check which some podcast generation plugin on your website and check with it.

In reply to: [Podcast Player - Your Podcasting Companion] Podcast List Scroll ErrorHi there,
Did you check the plugin? I checked again, but it is quite not possible to identify the real issue from the front-end. I can only see that the podcast player script is not executing on the page you mentioned. did you still see “scroll_amount_for_sticky is not defined” error. I could not see the error as well.
Thanks.

In reply to: [Podcast Player - Your Podcasting Companion] Podcast List Scroll ErrorHi there,
There is some plugin preventing execution of podcast player scripts on front-end. Can you check which plugin might be causing this? I suspect is could be complianz plugin (but I am not sure). We need some hit and trial to get the exact reason.
If complianz plugin is not causing this, we can try to disable one plugin at a time temporarily and see if it resolve the issue. If not, we can enable the plugin again and try with some other.
Inform me for more help or explanation on this. Kindly inform me if the above is working or you need additional help.
Thanks,

In reply to: [Podcast Player - Your Podcasting Companion] Podcast List Scroll ErrorHi there,
Thanks for using the podcast player on your website.
I checked the page and I observed a different error. It states error with fitvids.js which was loaded by Qode News plugin. Please disable this plugin and check again. It should resolve the issue.
Although I cannot see your mentioned error on the page. However, “scroll_amount_for_sticky” is not related to podcast player. If you see this error again, just check filename below the error. You will see the culprit plugin or theme.
Inform me for more help or clarification.

In reply to: [Podcast Player - Your Podcasting Companion] Text overlays the playerHi there,
As for CSS, you can use the following CSS to hide the background player,
.pp-podcast .mejs-container {
display: none !important;
}As for “Why is it appearing on certain pages?”. It can only be answered by the theme author. I don’t know where they have added the script.

In reply to: [Podcast Player - Your Podcasting Companion] Text overlays the playerHi there,
Thanks for testing. Although, we can use some CSS hack to hide the audio issue. However, it is best to first ask the theme developer on how to disable this feature.
You can ask “the theme is converting normal audio element to a custom player using mediaelement.js. I want to disable this feature. How can I do this?”
If the theme developer has some easy fix, that would be best.
Inform me for more help or explanation on this.

In reply to: [Podcast Player - Your Podcasting Companion] Text overlays the playerHi there,
Thanks for using the podcast player on your website.
I checked the webpage. There is some other plugin interfering with the podcast player. It is adding mediaelement script to the page and adding a new audio player inside podcast player and thereby breaking the style. (The player buttons you see below the title is not part of the podcast player. It is created by some other plugin).
Can you please check which plugin is causing this? One simple hit and trial method is to temporarily disable a plugin and check the page, if it resolve the issue, this is the plugin causing the issue. If not, we can enable the plugin again and disable the next plugin. This could also be some special feature of your theme as well.
You can start with some media related plugin. Inform if you need more help or explanation on this.
Thanks,
