“Semiologic Fixes” was the plugin causing the issue. If you have that installed and you deactivate it, the Menus item will appear in your Appearances panel once again and you will be happy and have joy.

Well here’s what I’m attempting to do. The live site is on another server, and the new site will be built on my HostGator server. However the other site needs to stay up until launch so I was just going to change the nameservers on the domain to point it to my server.

What I’m trying to do now is build the site on my server without a domain name. Here is the IP of where I’m at now: https://67.18.22.92/

Using Coda, this ip and the username and password, I can access the WP files on the server, but I cannot get into the admin or see the site in the browser.

I’m looking for an answer to this as well.

I can’t place it next to the label text though. Or if I wanted to have all of the error messages in a single list at the top of a form. I think a great feature would be the ability to move those error messages with shortcode like the [response] tag.

The [response] tag was not documented except for that second link. It wasn’t included with the first.

Found a possible solution here. But without the ability to send it in the form, it’s useless.

A possible solution would be someone who could add the appropriate code to an actual THEME so that the theme would change all those settings once activated.

I haven’t used him yet, but I know a WP plugin developer who says that he can easily do this. His site is here

I think WP needs to have a way to make certain settings DEFAULT for all sites, but until then, good luck!

Ok, well it seems like that functionality should definitely be included.

I second this. It would be great to set up a ‘template’ with certain settings enabled and then just duplicate it. I think that would be so awesome, honestly.

Anyway of doing this? I’d like to see it output something like this:

Yea, I’ve got a blogs.dir folder in there, and I created a new site. It just started working all of a sudden, but when I upload files, there are no new folders created in blogs.dir.

I’d love to see some examples!
