@stevenpreece’s solution fixed it for me, how ridiculously simple, whew!

Plugin uninstalled and reinstalled. I’m getting results but some error text that says:

1. The posts are regular posts
2. There are no custom cats/tags
3. The site has under 500 posts
4. Jetpack connections show the top one as green and the bottom two as red.

Hmm. I upgraded and now it doesn’t work at all.

I’ve tried each of these things but I can’t get the manual options to work with the php. When the box it checked, it shows up after the content. When it’s unchecked it’s gone regardless of whether or not

<?php zemanta_related_posts()?>

or

<?php wp_related_posts()?>

is present. I’d like to put it below my comments but for some reason it’s not happening.

Ah, this is an admin filter, very cool but I was actually looking for a plugin to do the exact same thing on the front-end.

Still need a solution though, any ideas?

You know, you’re right, these ARE archive pages. I’m looking at the blog and post pages and particularly a custom post type archive page.

Any updates on this? I’d really like to see more tasks up there!

I’m having this same problem right now. I love the new jetpack carousel but then all the single images are left out to dry. How bout another Jetpack plugin that is separate but offers a single image solution?

This is kind of a deal breaker for me since I often have posts that have galleries and single images at the same time and it makes for goofy functionality to have a sweet lightbox for the galleries and then a crappy image loading all by itself.

Any other ideas?

I’m having the same problem, it’s a Disqus issue. Did you ever get this figured out? There’s a supposedly an option to load the script in the footer but I can’t find it.

Yeah, you’ve got it. It’s a page but it’s using a custom template instead of page.php.

Wow, that’s pretty close to what I’m looking for. But I think that code is for the author profile, whereas I am using a page for an author profile.
