Sorry for the late reply; my images are raw at about 2.5k x 3.0k and just a couple of versions ago the uploads where working just fine.
Now, if I upload an image of a person sometimes all that is left after the auto-cropping is the torso.
Is there a plugin that enables a max height/width where the image keeps its proportion without cropping? If the image is too tall, I want the width to be smaller, if the image is too wide – the height should be lower. (relative to min/max)
I understand why this is happening, what I don’t understand is why wordpress is cropping instead of resizing. This is only ruining the original image when displayed in-post.
