Yes you can use the tabs in your sidebar, though the header.php can be bit over complicated.

I have already tried the tabs in ‘text’ widgets and successfully able to publish. I failed to use the code in header.php .Any how I will follow the echo do_shortcode() in header.php and will update you

I use the plugin “Admin Menu Editor” . I always wanted to move the Page links in dashboard from one menu to other using Admin Menu Editor plugin. But could not able to do it. I think it is the restriction of the plugin’s free version.How do you deal it ? Are you using Premium version of the plugin?

Yes! My installation is of Multisite . But the problem is not because of Multisite and neither installation nor server settings. I could able to see the venues and create them without any problem. Just I had to chose ‘Yes’ under ‘~settings~General options~Use dropdown for locations?’ So that venue adding problem has been solved.

Regarding Locations display… Both my locations -https://domain.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=events-manager-locations and all locations- https://mydomain.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=events-manager-locations&owner=all tabs show only the locations used in Venues. They won’t display the locations you add manually . I have created 5 indiviual locations manually using ~settings~locations~add new. But none of them displayed under the list and the location entered in a venue has been pulled up. I don’t know if it is a default behavior or some thing missing .

The location list box under ‘ settings~add event~location ‘ just takes the locations from the venues already added and not the locations added manually trough ~Settings~locations~add new. So @jmek , chose ‘no’ under ‘~settings~General options~Use dropdown for locations’.If you chose ‘yes’ and attempting to create first venue, you will never be able to create venues as the plugin try to grab the location from venues . I think Marcus should look into this problem(Location display added manually)

Can you tell me what is the actual purpose of this ‘settings~locations~ add new ‘ option ?

I think it is because of some other plugins on my WordPress installation. I will check what plugin is causing that issue

All the permissions are set to Administrator and editor by default. To replicate the issue, I have set the permissions to all user roles. But the locations issue was not solved yet

The plugin is installed in a fresh installation of Multisite installation and just activated on one sub-site which I am talking about

I have deleted the current plugin version and installed the new version. Later deleted the facebook app and created a fresh one. All the plugins were de-activated except the two . That is before I submit my last message.

Now on your word, I have created Facebook app again and de-activated all the plugins including must-use plugins (Installation type is of Multisite.But checking the plugin on each site separately ). Tried the same procedure for three times without no success (Rewrite Diagnostics are also fine)

Can you please allow me to send login details, so that you can check them on your end

I got the same error message when attempted to publish to Facebook

API Error Code: 100
API Error Description: Invalid parameter
Error Message: invalid permissions: ["create_event","publish_stream"]

May be we are missing something and there is no problem with the plugin?

Update : Also , I don’t understand the use of ‘Add new post’ there right below ‘Facebook’ option. Does any body have Idea about it’s use? For me I can able to just post this as a post :
