Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: WordPress Update 4.51 Failed – Had To RestoreI de-activated all of the plugins except
Duo Security and Askmet and the upgrade went fine.I started down the plugin list activating and I accidentally
activated a plugin I did not use and was going to delete. It was either Call To Action or Landing Pages.
And my site is down again.
The phenomenallove.com page isn’t workingphenomenallove.com is currently unable to handle this request.
I tried renaming the plugins.php file and that didn’t make
a difference so I named it back.OMG Farhan!
That was the answer to every problem I thought I had! ??
…on with the creation of my customers site!
Thank you so much!

I resolved this login problem to re-save the permalinks…
by adding the login name and password…in the admin section.
I did not do this previously because it said it wasn’t necessary however that is what worked for me.
My site is UP and FUNCTIONAL…including all of my Paypal and Shopping Cart links…
Yeah! Thank you the this wonderful plugin.
I can login normal wp-admin. Login and password are good.
It is just the link to login/pwd to re-save permalinks that doesn’t work.
Thanks Tom! …laughing…I needed that! Glad I could help.
Problem solved. Installer file working.
My sites are on hostgator and I did not have any of these issues. I did use localhost. I created the DB and DB user for this.
