In reply to: [Download Monitor] PDFs showing as codeRazvan – it does seem this might be only an issue on Windows machines. Are you working on a Mac? We are on Windows machines and so are most of our website visitors.

In reply to: [Download Monitor] PDFs showing as codeThanks Razvan.
Thats so odd – we see the jumbled up code on all machine we have used to test.
here is a screen shot of what we see:
https://dynamco.com.au/screenshot.pngand here is a direct link to the pdf in the wp uploads folder:
https://dynamco.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Golf-Phone-Holder-Cat-v3.pdfThe pdf, and all our pdfs, seem to be ok, its just when we try access them from the Download Monitor dynamic link with the file ID that we see that strange code.
Have you ever seen this happen before? Please take a look at the screenshot above.
Thanks again,

In reply to: [Download Monitor] PDFs showing as codemore elaboration ??
newly uploaded pdfs have the same issue as older existing ones.
and the direct link (like the one below) work 100% – its just the system generated one that breaks:
https://dynamco.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Golf-Phone-Holder-Cat-v3.pdf – works
https://dynamco.com.au/download/30127/ – doesnt workForum: Plugins
In reply to: [Download Monitor] PDFs showing as codeJust a quick elaboration.
Using the generated download link, all our PDFs show as code in the browser.
We are using WP v5.8 and the Download Monitor 4.4.13.
The plugin has been working fine for years.
And this happens in FF, Edge, Safari and Chrome, so we dont think its a browser issue.Have you ever seen this problem before? We are so stuck!
Any help will be appreciated,
Thank you,
Vauneenfigured it out!
its this hook ‘jetpack_photon_skip_for_url’ignore my question ??
- This reply was modified 4 years, 7 months ago by vauneen.
some more explanation:
we have disabled WordPress’ own ‘big_image_size_threshold’
so without Jetpack, WP serves the full image every time. But if we switch Jetpack on the the max image size returned is 800px.
we get the following added to img tags
sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px"
whereas without Jetpack that max-width is the actual image size.
hope this makes sense.

In reply to: [Calculated Fields Form] Save and Continue, or Save and EditThanks so much for the response.
We purchased a licence for CFF on the 30th Sept 2018.
And we’ve entered the purchase email address on the Calculated Fields Form forms list page. But we cant seem to find where we can get access to the add-ons?
Please could you point us in the right direction?Vauneen
Thanks Zack,
much appreciated.
VHi,
I’m having a similar issue: I upgraded WP to 3.5, then installed Wordfence 3.5, and my manual scans ‘hang’ every time.
Perhaps my site is too big? is there a size your plugin starts to struggle with?
It hangs at about 10 000 files.
[Jan 18 11:23:05] Analyzed 10900 files containing 478.62 MB of data so farIt hangs while simultaneously doing these 4 tasks:

Comparing core WordPress files against originals in repository

Comparing open source themes against www.remarpro.com originals
