It’s funny how the official support begins with “stay calm” ??
I think I got the whole picture now regarding what happened, better than when I started this topic.
I want to thank you very much for your support, James Huff and wish you a Happy New Year!

Well, I have to wait a few days until I can talk with the site owner.
I have checked raw logs on FTP and, beside me, the last log in was a month ago from some dubious IP.

    Sun Nov 08 16:53:16 2015 0 178.77.123.33 2924 /home/host/public_html/wp-content/post.php b _ i r host ftp 1 * c

That post.php file, I was told from the hosting company a month ago, that it’s doing spam and they said they will change permissions to that file.

    General IP Information
    IP: 178.77.123.33
    Decimal: 2991422241
    Hostname: fixx.hack-attack.de
    ASN: 20773
    ISP: Host Europe GmbH
    Organization: Hosteurope GmbH
    Services: None detected
    Type: Corporate
    Assignment: Static IP
    Blacklist: Blacklist Check

    Geolocation Information
    Continent: Europe
    Country: Germany de flag
    State/Region: North Rhine-Westphalia
    City: Hoest

Do you think this has something to do with the white screen?
Also, a few days ago the site was working fine, can’t I see if someone logged in and deleted the username so I can take that IP too? Where can I see those logs?

    Ok thank you.
I will do that then get back here to update it.

I have talked with him, he’s the owner of the site, he didn’t delete it.

There is one more user in wp_users, registered a year ago. Maybe someone who managed the site earlier (I just took the site and I have to figure out the white screen).
I have made a back-up of the whole site (all files and folders).

I have noticed that my username is missing from wp_users. How can that happen?
It’s not making any sense, if someone would delete my username would also delete my database to make sure I won’t be able to use my content anymore or something like that. How can I see when my user was deleted from the wp_users?
Also, if someone hacked me, won’t I be able to see his IP?

I reset the plugins. Still the white screen, wp-admin works and when I try to log-in it says Invalid username.
I have changed also the active theme’s name but still the white screen.

    Thank you for the support.
I just did that with a fresh copy of WordPress (same version) keeping only the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory. It’s still a white screen on the domain, but now when I go on domain.com/wp-admin it works but it says ERROR: Invalid username when I enter the log-in detail.
    Any more ideas?

Would I be able to keep my database by doing that?
The database can be deleted only from SQL PANEL?

I don’t want to remove it, just to edit it and I am not willing to pay for it.I will quit using it I guess then.Thank you.

Nevermind, there were 2 “functions.php” files and I edited them both. One of them supposed to be blank and I made it blank. It works now.
Anyway, after I removed that code the site works again. Speaking of which, what went wrong? How can I resize the featured image because from media editor it shows me the smaller width & height but in the page the size is 100% I think.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in …/functions.php on line 1620.

My functions.php has only 1615 lines.
