We like the idea and will add options inside the admin setting to set privacy permission for the tab; site admin will be able to set at which level ( public, logged-in, friend, only me ) check-ins tab should be visible.

The plugin has auto-suggestion mode as well, You can use it to add any location which is available in Google listings.
With Place type mode, it will display nearby business listings only which are listing on Google.

With Add as my location checkbox, it will add your checked-in location to database will display that entry to check-in location tab like this https://prntscr.com/i8cfwc

Verify button only to check if it’s a valid API key.

Sorry for the trouble, we had recently released a new version of the plugin with updated codes, Please try to enable “Google Maps Embed API” from the console from the same key and try again.

@axelmire We have not tested with multisite so far, we will try to wrap in our next version update.
