This is not what i did but you could try to delete the contents of the cron row in wp_options
I dont know if this is a possible solution. But you could try. Just backup your DB in any case before you try.
If i put the script online on a live site then for every visitor the script will be started, right?
How could i run it on a site wich is online? It spawns processes and server crashes?
So happened to me with 400 users i got a massive number of jobs created and the server fell appart.
Same Problem. Here. Seems the solution is working, but how long does it take to clean it all. My server is spawning endless httpd processes until all resources are full and then colapses

I second this. I need to exclude categories from get_category_index. How can i manage that?
