What if I modify the URL Bloh Adress and Blog Home in the /newsite wp admin ( where I can go inside ) and the copy the wp files to the roo directory? Could this work? I mean that was wath I Did..the problem could be that because I copy the files from /newsite al the info a redirectios was set up to that folder… just thinking

Any comments?

I found something thats make me confuse but solved my problem. If someone can offer a reasonable explain about it I will appreciate it.

I was working with images made as jpg format. When using IE some images shows on ligthbox and some other doesnt after upload them using the wp tool to upload pics. In FF everithing works fine

Today, four day latter I note some of the images are CMYK color code and some others in RGB color code. The RGB ones works and shows fine on Ligthbox and CMYK doesnt. I change all the CMYK to RBG and everything is working great.

Dont ask me why does this happen but It happen and its true. I really dont find any reason but, hey, Im new , so, pease dont laugh

I post it cause may be someone can use this info to solve a problem like mine

Even I cant tell you to do that Im sure you can use wordpress as CMS.

Take a look into https://milenio.com one of the most important newspaper in Mexico and you can see it is made on wordpress. Its amazing what does this guys do in the online version of the newspaper.

So, yes, If you have time and hability, you can use as CMS

Lets see….I modificate my themes in this way: Change headers and add some modiciations like banners, advertising, adsense codes and stuff like this . I dont know if plug in could apply as modification.

If somebody knows if this modifitation affect my upgrade proccess or not please tell me. I dont want to make a mess with the site trying to fix it.

Do i need to modificate my database? I hope not..

My hosting company offer automatic upgrade but there is some warning about if you modified theme to not upgrade and I modified my themes.

What could be the better way and painless to upgrade? I know there is a lot os post about it and I read a lot of them but still found it is hard for someone not with expert level.

I was meaning about the look. I thik I can use FLV player using some plug in.

I have some theme for Joomla and looks like it can be done on it but honestly I feel better using wordpress ( I already walk the WP learning curve, so, i dont want to star over again in other plattaform )

I also can do this on frontpage but it is a LOT of work, hard to update and all that stuff

I contact my host company. There was a problem on UPLOAD folder owner. They change it and thats is.

Someone said in other post. Contact your host company if you cand find the answer. Why didn we go with out host company at first time? I expend 5 hours trying to fix something that I cant. I learn my lesson
