In reply to: [Bulk Delete] Not deleting questionsIt came as part of my theme and it’s not listed separately on the plugin section, but under the Questions Settings section Buddypress is mentioned, so it must be based on that.

In reply to: [Bulk Delete] Not deleting questionsI’m not sure how to tell. There is a menu in my WP dashboard called Questions so I don’t believe they are stored as posts, I guess that leaves comments.

In reply to: [Bulk Delete] Not deleting questionsHi Sudar
Yes, I understand that there are way too many posts to delete “Guest User” because all the spam q/a’s are from the same 1 guest user, so that option is out.
My other options were to delete questions using either the Bulk Delete Posts or Comments sections. I tried both and set it to delete 10 and again I get message “Deleted comment meta field from 0 comments”
Are there there any other options?
Thanks

In reply to: Bulk delete approved questions & answersSomething else that occurred to me, would changing themes to one that does not have this Questions section be of any use? I don’t know if that would get rid of them or the spam will still be floating around somewhere

In reply to: Bulk delete approved questions & answersThanks Geraint, I will try the Buddy press forum.

In reply to: Bulk delete approved questions & answersGeraint,
There is a Questions menu in my WP dashboard and within that are Questions, Add New, Question Categories, Tags,Answers and Settings. Within Settings Buddypress is mentioned so it must use Buddypress. All the Questions/Answers are assigned to “Guest” user (no registration) and there is only one Guest, so it may be possible to just delete the Guest user. But with all the thousands of spam q/a’s I am afraid it might crash my site.
Hope this info helps.

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Table WidthTobias,
I finally figured it out. It was a my theme’s table css. I added this:
#content .tablepress-id-share tr td {
padding: 5px;
}#content .tablepress-id-share thead th {
font-size: 11px;
}And it worked. I love Tablepress (now that I figured out my issue) and will use it for all my tables.

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Table WidthHi Tobias,
Ok, I figured out how to post a page without it being linked on the site. Here is the URL: https://www.digitalphotos101.com/blog/all-about-backing-up-your-photos-comparison-review-of-photo-sharing-sites/
Thanks.

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Table WidthHi Tobias,
I’ve scoured all the posts about table width and still can’t get it right. My table is expanding into the widget area. I’m using 2011 theme. The table previews perfectly in the Tablepress preview, but not when inserted into my page and yes, I inserted in while in text view. I’ve reduced the padding, reduced the font size, set width and there are no images. No words are “too big” to fit. Also, the table header font size won’t change (except in tablepress preview) even though I made it smaller. I’ve tried so many css fixes I may be confusing myself. Here is what I have:
.tablepress-id-share tbody td {
font-family: arial;
font-size: 10px;
line-height: 110%;
}.tablepress-id-share thead th {
font-size: 10px;
}.tablepress-id-share {
width: 600px;
}.tablepress-id-share th,
.tablepress-id-share td {
padding: 5px;
}.tablepress-id-share .column-1,
.tablepress-id-share .column-2,
.tablepress-id-share .column-3,
.tablepress-id-share .column-4,
.tablepress-id-share .column-5,
.tablepress-id-share .column-6,
.tablepress-id-share .column-7 {
width: 70px !important;
}#content .tablepress-id-share tr td {
padding: 5px;
}I want to post a link but hesitate to publish a post looking like this for the world to see.
Thanks

In reply to: Theme won't load all of a suddenThank you! I updated everything then deactivated the plugins and reactivated them 1 by 1. Found it was the Better WordPress Minify plugin that caused the problem. Odd, as I had not changed any settings.

In reply to: Redirect wordpress page to static html home pageHere is the link to the blog: http:/www.digitalphotos101.com/blog
I want the “digital photos 101 home” link to go to my html home page https://www.digitalphotos101.com but I can’t seem to get it to work, even though I set up a custom page with the correct link. Thanks.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Redirect wordpress page to static html home pageI should have added to the above that I also tried to add a custom link via the menu but again, it is not going to https://www.myhomepage.com like I want it to. In fact, WordPress seems extremely slow at updating whenever I make a change, and even when I clear the cache it still shows the old version.
